01 / Wellbeing · Social content

Putting the person
behind the business
on camera.

Stu knew his business and the service he offered. His social media wasn’t doing that expertise justice.

The starting point

Stu got in touch after seeing one of my own video ads. His content relied heavily on AI-generated graphics, and he felt his business wasn’t being taken seriously online.

We met for coffee, talked through what he wanted to achieve and put a plan together: get Stu in front of the camera and let people hear from the person doing the work.

Making it comfortable

Being on camera didn’t come naturally to Stu. With encouragement and direction, we’ve helped him share his knowledge and explain his services in his own words.

We’ve been working together for around three months. One filming day each calendar month produces 12 social reels, with the format shaped around what each piece needs to achieve. Supporting stills give Stu material for his own infographics and stories. Stu handles the posting.

Where the business is now

Stu is now booking weeks in advance. With demand for SMSM Recovery growing, he has reduced his employed hours to spend more time on his own business.

That’s the progress over our first few months working together: a clearer online presence, with Stu at the centre of it.

This older Alfa Romeo video was published before Matt and I began working together. These views do not relate to the GT-R thumbnail above.

Figures from YouTube Analytics screenshots supplied on 21 October 2026. Watch hours and subscribers relate to the GT-R episode. These are two individual videos with different timeframes, not channel averages or a like-for-like growth comparison.

02 / South Coast Wrapping · YouTube

From short clips
to a weekly series.

Giving viewers more than the finished wrap: the process, the decisions and the person behind the work.

Where we started

When Matt and I started working together, the channel was built around time-lapses and short clips assembled by an external editor. The videos showed what he did, but there was room to tell more of the story.

Following the whole process

Nearly two years on, the episodes follow projects through the workshop. The approach is more story-driven, giving the process room to unfold with the feel of an ongoing series.

Matt and I plan the episodes together. I handle filming, post-production, thumbnails and YouTube channel management.

Showing up every week

A new video goes out every Sunday at 6pm. In nearly two years working together, we’ve missed just one upload, due to circumstances outside our control.

Building something that lasts

Some recent videos have reached tens of thousands of views. The channel is now monetised, earning revenue from its videos, and Matt is receiving approaches about sponsorships and brand deals.

The Nissan GT-R episode is one example of the audience the channel can reach: more than 20,000 views, over 400 hours watched and 49 subscribers gained.
